TideDeck gives you the tide for anywhere on Earth, worked out on your device. No account, no ads, and no connection needed to get a tide time. Open it on a beach with one bar of signal and it still knows when the water turns.
It is built for the people who actually watch the water: swimmers, paddlers, anglers, rock-poolers, photographers, dog walkers on tidal sands, and anyone who has ever stood on a slipway wondering whether there is enough water yet.
See the Tide, Minute by Minute
The home screen shows the current water height, whether the tide is rising or falling, and the next high and low with a live countdown. Scrub the day's curve with your finger and the readout follows you, with a gentle haptic tick at every high and low so you can feel the turn of the tide.
Day and night shading, a live now marker, and clear HIGH and LOW labels make the shape of the day readable at a glance, with the full table of times and heights underneath.
Anywhere on the Coast
Along US coasts, TideDeck computes tides from published harmonic constants for 1,302 measured NOAA stations, clearly badged so you know you are on exact data. Everywhere else it models the tide from global and regional ocean models, so you are covered on any shoreline in the world, with the prediction labelled as modelled and the distance to the nearest measured station shown.
Search by name, state, or station ID, find the nearest stations to you, drop in a coordinate by hand, or browse a built-in offline index of over three thousand coastal towns, harbours, piers, beaches, marinas, and slipways. Save the spots you use most.
Plan Around the Water
Page through the days either side and jump straight back to now. Best days ahead surfaces the lowest and highest water coming up, so you can pick your moment for a swim, a launch, or a rock-pooling session. Week and month charts show the swing from springs to neaps, and a tidal character card reads the type and spring range of your spot at a glance.
Sun, Moon, and Why Tides Happen
Get sunrise, sunset, moon phase, illumination, and day length for your spot, plus an interactive scene showing how the Sun and Moon line up to make springs and neaps. A built-in Tide School explains what you are looking at, in plain language, for anyone who wants to understand the water rather than just read a number.
Designed to Be Read
Five themes, contrast-checked in light and dark, with a high-legibility reading mode for anyone who finds dense text hard going. Heights in metres, feet, or a mix. Full Dynamic Type support, and the animated ocean backdrop respects Reduce Motion and Reduce Transparency.
Free and Pro
The full tide readout, the scrubbable curve, station search, favourites, sun and moon data, and a week either side of today are all free. TideDeck Pro extends the forecast horizon out to a full year ahead and is available as an annual subscription or a one-time lifetime unlock.
Planning, Not Navigation
TideDeck predicts the height of the tide above a reference level. It does not know the depth of the water or the level of the seabed, it does not include storm surge, wind, or barometric effects, and it does not predict tidal streams. It is a planning and interest tool, not a nautical publication. For navigation, always use official tide tables, official charts, and your harbour authority.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it work without a signal? Tide predictions are computed entirely on your device, so tide times, curves, and planning work with no connection at all. Weather, live observations, and map search do need the internet.
How accurate is it? At the 1,302 bundled US stations it computes from measured harmonic constants and is very close to published predictions. Elsewhere it is modelled, which is an approximation for an area of ocean rather than a measurement of your exact spot, and it is labelled as such in the app.
Can I use it for navigation? No. It gives heights above a datum, not depths, and it excludes surge, wind, and currents. Use official tide tables and charts for anything on the water.
Is Pro a subscription? Your choice. Pro is available as an annual subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
